Billy Graham Hospitalized
Reverend Billy Graham is hospitalized for the second time in a month with respiratory issues. It comes just two weeks after he celebrated his 95th birthday.
A spokesperson for Mr. Graham says he was admitted for observation.
"Mr. Graham is in the hospital with a respiratory congestion issue, similar to what he had a few weeks ago. As was the case then, we expect he will be able to return home in a day or two," said Mark DeMoss.
As doctors at Mission Hospital continue to monitor his condition, members of a Henderson County church are praying for his recovery.
The annual Thanksgiving dinner at Locust Grove Baptist Church is something folks look forward to every year. But Wednesday night's get together had a deeper purpose. On top of giving thanks for a hot meal, the church wanted to show gratitude to the Reverend Billy Graham by showing his final message, "My Hope For America".
The evangelist has been a part of church members lives for so many years. In his time of need, they want to be there for him now. Through the power of prayer, the room bowed their heads and sent a special request up above.
Once he is released from Mission Hospital, he will go back to his home in Montreat.
