Double Murder Warrants Uncover New Details
Detectives are checking out an accused double murderer's Facebook account for clues in a third death.
25-year-old Vincent Franklin is in the Buncombe County Jail without bond, charged with killing his mom and stepdad.
A few days after the November 21st murders, Franklin's missing girlfriend, Cheyenne Van Treese's body was discovered on his property. Now a warrant to search all activity on Franklin's Facebook account has been released. Detectives can search all activity 120 days prior to the murders.
In the warrant, detective Ryan Jordan states one of Franklin's Facebook posts showed he quote "had wrath" with Van Treese.
The warrant also shows a family member told investigators that Andre Runne, Franklins dad, had said Franklin wanted to kill Van Treese and bury her in the woods.
Neighbors of Franklin and the murdered couple, Joy and Andre Runne, hope the detectives will find evidence on facebook linking Franklin to Van Treese's death. Barbara Heise says she thinks about the victims every day, and has has nightmares about shootings and killings.
