Federal Healthcare Deadline Extended

American's have one more day to sign up for new Federal health care, through the Affordable Care Act. The December 23rd deadline was extended Monday, through midnight on Christmas Eve. Only those who want coverage by January 1st need to meet the deadline. Individuals have until the end of March to sign up, to avoid government penalties.

After hundreds of upgrades on healthcare.gov, many say the site is more user friendly.  But, the Federal government warns there may be delays due to a rush of users hoping to meet the December 24th deadline.
