Murder Investigation Warrants Released
Search warrants reveal new details into the investigation of an accused double murderer in Buncombe County.
25-year-old Vincent Franklin is being held without bond for the murders of his mother and stepfather in November.
While Franklin is charged with first degree murder of his parents, he has not been charged with killing his girlfriend Cheyenne Van Treese
Van Treese had been missing for over a month when Franklin was accused of killing both his parents on their Leicester home.
Her body was found a short time later.
In the warrant detective Ryan Jordan states one of Franklin's Facebook posts showed he quote "had wrath" with Van Treese.
The warrant also shows a family member told investigators that Andre Runne, Franklins dad, had said Franklin wanted to kill Van Treese and bury her in the woods.
The warrant will allow detectives to search all activity on Franklin's Facebook for the months prior to his parents murders.
Every status, friend request , friends list, anything that could tie him closer to Van Treese murder.
