Fairview Man Makes Own Snow
There's some snow falling in Fairview, but you won't see it in our forecast. Josh Gibson decided he wasn't getting enough snow. So he decided to build his own snow-maker.
The machine is made up of an air compressor and a high power pressure washer. But everything has to be exact for it to work. He said it took some research, engineering skills and a little bit of science.
"So essentially these nozzles will nuculize the water as they come out and that's where the air injection comes in so that the water drops will be flattened as they come out so they can evaporate quicker in the air and freeze," said Josh Gibson.
On top of the perfect air to water ratio, Josh says the air temperature and humidity have to be just right, too. It took him three days to make all that snow.
