SeekingArrangement.com is becoming popular on campuses worldwide and right here in the mountains. Co-eds at UNCA, Western Carolina, and App State are logging on and meeting wealthy men who are looking for companionship.
One student News 13 spoke with says she gets $1,500 a month from the man she is seeing. She says uses the money to pay for tuition, books and rent.
Local authorities say mutually beneficial relationship like this, are considered legal. They tell News 13 as long as the women are providing services other than sex, it's not considered prostitution.
SeekingArrangement.com says they screen every single profile and they work very hard to make sure people aren't using the site inappropriately.
