Andrew and Kyle Hernandez are 9 & 11 year-old brothers and members of the band The Buskits. They perform on classical guitars and foot-pedal drums - favorite hits from the past! The Beatles, The Doors, Santana, The Turtles, the list goes on.
This talented brother duo started learning the guitar and music notation around the age of four as part of their homeschool instruction, since then, older brother Andrew is becoming a well rounded classical guitarist and has received several awards in solo guitar competitions, Kyle is also following on his footsteps. Music education and performance continues to play an important role in their development, Andrew and Kyle currently take classical guitar and piano lessons at The Summit Academy of Music in Asheville
The Buskits have been part of the unique and diverse artistic community of Asheville NC for quite some time now, specially in the busking scene, Andrew started busking classical guitar solos when he was just 8! soon, his younger brother Kyle joined in and they formed their two piece band.
So far, it has been and exciting journey for this young performers, they have been featured on TV, the radio and have participated in various festivals and private events, they're currently working on their first CD and merchandise and filling up their calendar for 2018!
