For art enthusiasts and tourists, the historic gardens at Biltmore have been a hotbed of action since May when the Seattle artist Dale Chihuly set up a colorful and amazing exhibit.

"Chihuly at Biltmore" is Chihuly's first major exhibition in North Carolina. It's also the first time that an outdoor art exhibition has been hosted in the famous Biltmore gardens.

A leader in the development of glass as a fine art, Chihuly is celebrated for large architectural installations that have captivated viewers around the U.S. and throughout the world. The Chihuly at Biltmore exhibition will feature awe-inspiring artworks in both Biltmore House and the gardens and is included in Biltmore admission.

Just announced Monday, Biltmore has added additional evenings to the Chihuly Nights at Biltmore schedule, making nighttime tours available each night of the week during the last two weeks of the exhibition, Sept. 20 through Oct. 7.
