When life gives you snow...whip up some snow cream!

It's a winter tradition kids (and adults) love...snow cream!

The sweet treat takes only 5 minutes to make but does require some fresh snow.

NOTE: We know not everyone is down with eating snow. If you're worried about pollution, of any kind, you can also make this recipe with shaved ice. Disclaim: you eat snow at your own risk.

All you need are 5 simple ingredients: a bit of milk, some sugar, some vanilla extract, a pinch of salt and, of course, snow!

In a large bowl, whisk together 1 cup of milk with 1/3 cup of granulated sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.

Once well mixed, run outside and find 8 CLEAN, super fresh, cups of snow and immediately stir the fluffy white stuff into your mixture.

Move fast, it melts quickly.

The ice cream should be fluffy and ready to eat! Enjoy!

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 8 cups CLEAN snow
