WASHINGTON, D.C. - The battle lines are now drawn for North Carolina's 11th district congressional race. Incumbent Mark Meadows (R), will face off against Rick Bryson (D) in the November election. Bryson won Tuesday's primary race by a close vote. During an interview with News 13, Rep. Meadows says he will continue serving the people of Western North Carolina instead of spending most of his time campaigning.

Congressman Meadows also addresses controversy surrounding Donald Trump as the likely Republican presidential nominee, issues TSA is facing with busy summer travel and the case of an 18-year-old Asheville father who is being deported back to Guatemala.
