New Spruce Pine Medical Center Wins Design Award
SPRUCE PINE, N.C. -- A new two-story, 30,000 square-foot medical office building in the mountains stands out.
It's a new clinic in the mountains unlike any other in the nation, and one that's bringing state-of-the-art healthcare to a rural community.
Clinical Supervisor Vicki Tolley-Chapman explained that rotating specialists never before available in Spruce Pine now provide care alongside a lab, radiology area, and pharmacy.
The center won a Best New Building award during a recent health real estate insights conference.
The appeal of the multi-million dollar facility is clear.
"Physicians want to practice in a building like this that has everything they need and is up to date," said Keith Corporation developer Andrew Lawler.
And there's no denying that the aesthetics, including the artwork and views, make treatment more appealing and less intimidating, not to mention more convenient than ever.
