2 juveniles charged with aggravated arson in Gatlinburg wildfires

Two juveniles now face arson charges for their part in the Sevier County wildfires that killed 14 people and destroyed hundreds of structures.

Officials made the announcement at a press conference on Wednesday.

State officials said the juveniles were not from Sevier County but were Tennessee residents.

The two are currently in custody at the Sevier County Juvenile Detention Facility.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.
