33rd Annual Bounty of Bethlehem Slated for Christmas Day
HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. -- Preparations continued for Hendersonville's Bounty of Bethlehem on Monday.
This is the 33rd year for the annual Christmas Day community dinner.
Decorations are going up in the gym at Immaculatta Catholic School, and volunteers are gearing up to work in the kitchen.
This year's dinner almost didn't happen, but new leaders have stepped in to help make it happen.
Donations of time, money and food are still needed. Volunteers say this is a very meaningful experience.
"This bigger than you can possibly imagine for so many people; that your financial consideration or wrapping paper or your time is well beyond any monetary item or gift you could give, because it will come back to you," volunteer Anna Marie Jakubielski said. "We need help."

The dinner takes place Christmas Day at Immaculatta Catholic School in Hendersonville.
