The 3rd annual LEAF Downtown festival will still run two days this year, but the event will get an earlier start.

"So this year we've changed it up," said Elena Chu, COO of LEAF. "We used to have it on Saturday/Sunday. Now we changed it to Friday/Saturday."

The festival in Pack Square Park will feature music on three different stages and dozens of vendors.

Isa Estrada is a face painter who has a booth in the middle of Roger McGuire Green.

"I love facepainting," Estrada says. "It is my passion. I love the faces of all the smiling kids."

LEAF is probably best known for its fall and spring festivals at Lake Eden, but this mid-summer festival is drawing people downtown.

The festival is free and runs through 10 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday.
