Mother accused of kidnapping, arrested in Asheville over the weekend, released on bond

Kayla Unbehaun, who was abducted by her mother Heather from South Elgin, Illinois, in 2017, has been found in Asheville, North Carolina. The girls' abduction was featured on the recent Netflix reboot of Unsolved Mysteries. Heather Unbehaun is being held on a $250,000 bond and is awaiting extradition back to Illinois.
