APD names suspect in dog food theft

    Asheville police have named a suspect in last month's break-in and theft of 2,000 pounds of dog food from Brother Wolf Animal Rescue.

    The stolen food was recovered last week.

    Police have charged Gary King II with felony breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.

    King is not in custody, and the APD is asking for the public's help in finding him.

    The 33-year-old is 6 feet tall, weighs 170 pounds, and has brown hair, brown eyes, a pierced left eyebrow and pierced tongue.
