Appalachian Wildlife Refuge interns learn practical & life skills while saving animals


Through the Animal Care Internship program at Appalachian Wildlife Refuge in Candler, interns spend their time taking care of the injured wildlife that is brought in, in hopes of returning them back to the wild, while utilizing their own skills -- like grant writing, graphic design, social media.
