Asheville, N.C. (WLOS) — The runway light at the Asheville Regional Airport have been repaired but many travelers are still dealing with delays and cancellations.
We first brought it this story you as breaking news late Monday night, when airport officials said they were not able to have flights land or take off because the runway lights weren't working.
They tell us the issue was resolved at 2 a.m. on Tuesday, but some passengers were still dealing with delays.
Anne Payne said she was trying to get to Seattle to see her aunt.
"If I can make my connection in Atlanta, my first stop will be to see my 99-year-old great aunt, and it's before her dinnertime, so I won't be interrupting anything," Payne said.
