Update: Missing 3-year-old found, Amber Alert canceled

UPDATE: The boy has been found.


Deputies in Buncombe County are asking for the public's help in locating a man and a 3-year-old boy.

Authorities say Stephen Drake Jones, 27, was last seen on Sept. 18 in Hendersonville with 3-year-old son, Ezra David Jones in his custody.

Stephen Jones is described as a white male with red hair and hazel eyes, He is 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs about 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing unknown color T-shirt, khaki shorts and baseball cap.

Ezra Jones has black hair and brown eyes. He is 3 feet tall and weighs about 30 pounds.

Stephen Jones was last seen in Henderson County traveling toward Black Mountain with a possible destination of Winston Salem. Authorities believe he is driving a blue 1990 Ford F-250 with North Carolina tag PEC-5783.
