ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Police and fire respond to the Asheville Regional Airport after the smell of a smoke on a plane. It happened around 3AM on Thursday.

We are told there was no fire, and that it could have been a possible electrical issue with the plane.

The aircraft was parked at the gate. There were no passengers on board.

It was a Delta aircraft, so airport officials advise you to check the airline's schedule if you plan on flying.
