Funeral plans set for boys killed in Mills Gap crash

The lives of 13-year-old O'Brien Gibbs and his brother 10-year-old William Gibbs will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Arden.

The boys were killed last Tuesday when the car they were riding in ran off Mills Gap Road and hit a tree. Their brother and mother were hospitalized.

O'Brien was an eighth-grade student at Asheville Middle School. He previously attended Asheville Catholic from kindergarten to fifth grade.

William Edward was a fifth-grade student at Asheville Catholic School, where he had attended since pre-K.
