Local man who helped eradicate leprosy across globe celebrates 100th birthday

OCT. 30, 2022 - Family and friends from all over the U.S. came together in Henderson County Sunday, Oct. 30 to celebrate the accomplishments, service, life and, ultimately, the 100th birthday of local resident John Sams, who helped find a cure for leprosy.
