Husband charged with murder after pregnant woman found dead in home

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) — A husband was arrested in connection to his wife's murder that occurred on Northfield Court Wednesday, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Office.

Jerrod Graham, 35, is charged with murder and death/injury to child in utero during a violent crime.

Graham was released from a secure facility on Thursday and immediately taken into custody, according to authorities.

He was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center without further notice.

Graham appeared in front of a judge and will remain at ASGDC without bail until his next court appearance in late August.

Deputies found Chandreka Graham unresponsive in a home with significant head trauma, after receiving a wellness check call.

First responders pronounced Chandreka dead on the scene.

At this time, RCSD cannot confirm how her injuries were caused.
