MISSING: Teens sought after leaving Old Fort youth treatment program

    MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. -- Two teens are reported missing by law enforcement after leaving an Old Fort youth treatment program.

    McDowell County sheriff’s deputies are searching for two 17-year-olds, Joshua Stephen Ellis and Jackson Lawlor, who reportedly left SUWS of the Carolinas early Tuesday morning.

    They were last seen on Graphite Road at 12:10 a.m.

    Ellis, who is from Pennsylvania, is described as a white male who stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 165 pounds, and has blondish-brown hair and blue eyes.

    Lawlor, who is from Indiana, is described as a white male who stands 6 feet tall, weighs 130 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.

    Both teens left SUWS wearing black pants and blue long-sleeve shirts.

    Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Ellis and/or Lawlor is asked to call the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office at 652-2235 or the McDowell County 911 communications center at 652-4000.
