Henderson County officials hope to make schools safer by launching a new tool for students.

Students can now report concerning behavior or safety threats by using an app on their smartphones called Report It, Don't Ignore It. It's available for Apple and Andrioid phones, as well as on the Henderson County Public Schools website.

The tool gathers information from users and sends alerts directly to school administrators, who can then notify law enforcement. Students can also remain anonymous.
