ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — One person has been sent to the hospital after a fire broke out in an Asheville apartment building.
The Asheville Fire Department reports the fire broke out on the fifth floor of a five-story apartment building at 121 Bartlett Street on Sunday, Feb. 6.

The department says the fire is now under control.
One person was transported to the hospital by Buncombe County EMS. There is no word yet on the person's condition.
