Over 60 dogs seized from what authorities called 'inhumane' living conditions


JAN. 28, 2022 - Authorities in Currituck County, North Carolina, rescued 61 dogs, 47 adults and 14 puppies, from "unsanitary and inhumane" living conditions at the Bentwood Labradors dog breeder in Moyock. The owner of Bentwood Labradors, Tim Warren, is charged  with 61 counts of failure to provide animals with medical care, adequate food and water, and sanitary living conditions, according to the news outlets. He was also charged with violating the county's restraint ordinance; allowing animals to create a nuisance; and failing to provide veterinarian care to an animal, resulting in its death.
