PHOTOS, VIDEO | Cleanup of massive landslide on Highway 9
The cleanup continues to remove a massive landslide from a section of Highway 9 in Henderson County.
Many trees have been removed to make way for a dirt road, so heavy equipment can get to the top of the hill.
People living nearby are having to make a 50-mile detour.
The estimated cost of the cleanup is $1.5 million.
The goal is to have the road re-opened by July 27, 2018.
