A Fletcher priest accused of waving a gun in a road-rage incident in Florida will plead guilty to a lesser charge, according to the Palm Beach Post.

Prosecutors say that plea will get him one year probation.

William Adams was charged with pointing a .40-caliber handgun from his Corvette at Sharon Huges and her son in Palm City in July.

Adams is a priest at Calvary Episcopal Church in Fletcher. He told troopers there was a gun in his car, but said he never touched it.
