SILVER ALERT CANCELED: Search called off for missing, endangered Durham woman

UPDATE 6:36 PM: At the request of the Duke University Police, the N.C. Center for Missing Persons has cancelled the Silver Alert for Jennifer Bertram.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing, endangered woman.

People are asked to be on the lookout for Jennifer Bertram, 26, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment. A family member said Bertram suffers from heart issues.

She was last seen at Duke Hospital at 2301 Erwin Road in Durham.

Bertram is described as a 26-year-old white woman who is 5' 7" tall and weighs 167 pounds. She has reddish-brown hair and hazel eyes.

She was last seen wearing t-shirt with an American flag on front, jeans and black sneakers. She may be carrying a green shoulder bag.
