UPDATE: Missing Asheville woman has been found

UPDATE: Police said Linda Gail Clawson has been safely located. A Silver Alert had been issued for her.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for Linda Gail Clawson, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Clawson, 31, is about 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 196 pounds. She has brow, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She was last seen on Mame Road in Asheville. Clawson was wearing a cream color dress, black sweater, tan knee-high boots, tan jacket and white scarf.

Anyone with information about Clawson should call DS James at the Asheville Police Department at 828-252-1110.
