Student disciplined after verbal threat against Brevard High School
One student has been disciplined after school officials say a verbal threat was made against Brevard High School.
Transylvania County Schools says were made aware about the threat Thursday morning.
After an investigation by school officials and law enforcement, the threat was deemed to be not credible.
School officials said the student was disciplined for making the statement, according to Board of Education policy.
Transylvania County Schools said in a release that all security matters are taken seriously and encourages the community to report all concerns.
