BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. -- Filming is underway in the Black Mountain area for a new movie.

"Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" stars Woody Harrelson and several other actors. Those three billboards could be prominent in the movie, but are currently prominent in Black Mountain.

The producer said the billboards are meant to get a reaction in the movie. A billboard reading "RAPED WHILE DYING" in all caps does just that.

Susan Dinzole got hired on Thursday to watch traffic around the film set.

"I had a real slow day today," Dinzole said.

She's used to working construction sets. She said making movies is a lot of hurry up and wait.

"A friend of mine's daughter saw Woody Harrelson yesterday, but I haven't seen anything but this field right here, but I'm making sure no one gets over there," Dinzole said.

She didn't know she'd be working for a Hollywood film.

Dinzole got a job and a friend, Yvonne Reese, came down to help her. She lives just above where they're filming.

"I gave her some water and a cushion to sit on. We began talking, and we've been talking all evening," Reese said.

They were talking about the billboards.

"They're gonna set them on fire," Dinzole said.

The producer said they plan to shoot for another three weeks. He said it usually takes about a year for a movie to reach theaters.
