Asheville Toys 'R' Us to stay open around the clock for last-minute shoppers
With just days until Christmas, Toys "R" Us is extending their hours of operation for last-minute shoppers.
The Asheville store will be open around the clock starting Thursday morning through Christmas Eve.
Associates in Asheville gave News 13 a look at some of the most popular Christmas toys.
For the younger kids, they say "Hatchimals" are back this year with a twin version. "Fingerlings" are also a new addition and have been flying off the shelves.
Assistant Store Manager Nan Wyatt said "Fur-real" pets are popular this year. She said interactive play is the trending theme among many of the top sellers.
"The toy plays with you or plays with another toy, similarly - like the fingerlings. These two seem to respond to one another. So, there's an interaction. It's almost social," Wyatt said.
Wyatt also said toys that incorporate mystery or surprise are popular among older age groups. New on the market this year is a music-mixing machine that connects to an app.
As of Wednesday morning, all of the toys featured were also still in stock at the Asheville Toys "R" Us.
