Weather causes multiple traffic issues, including Highway 23 box truck crash
Emergency officials say weather likely played a part in a crash that shut down part of Highway 23 in Sylva Monday morning.
A box truck flipped on its side in the eastbound lanes near the Sylva exit.
Troopers are still investigating exactly what happened.
The driver was not injured.
Both lanes were blocked as crews worked to bring the truck back upright.
One eastbound lane remains closed at this hour.
