People inside Pulse Nightclub were hiding, huddled together in the bathroom Sunday morning.

They tried not to make a sound. But their phones wouldn't stop ringing. They couldn't tell their parents and loved ones that they were OK. So they sent videos of each other hunkered down in the bathroom at Pulse, while the shooting continued.

Trapped. In silence. A four-hour nightmare.

Now, one of the survivors of the deadly shooting in Orlando has shared video of the harrowing ordeal with WPLG-TV.

Miguel Leiva was visiting his girlfriend in Orlando the night of the shooting. He said he was one of about 30 people hiding in the bathroom. Only half of them made it out alive.

He was shot twice, but is expected to survive.

SWAT officers "dragged" him from the club and pulled him to safety. But he says he still carries the devastating memory of the 49 victims who were killed.

"Half of those people were in the bathroom with me," he said.
