The Biltmore Estate is shining extra bright this holiday season, with new light displays on the grounds as part of Christmas at Biltmore.

You can see the estate decked out with Christmas trees, lights and ornaments.

The front lawn boasts a beautiful 55-foot tree along with illuminated evergreens.

Inside the Biltmore house, there are 55 different Christmas trees, including the large Fraser fir in the banquet hall.

The staff members even have a tradition of their own when it comes to decorating that tree.

"One of the staff members from the engineering services department, hides an actual light bulb inside the big banquet hall Christmas tree. It is situated in a position where a guests can find it, particularly if you're a little guest - a child," said Leeann Donnelly, senior public relations manager with Biltmore.

More than 100,000 Christmas lights have been added to the Antler Hill Village area this season. Santa and Christmas carolers also pay guests a visit there.

Christmas at Biltmore runs through January 7th, 2018.
