A restaurant in Biltmore Village is back open after renovations, and it is hosting a fundraiser for a local non-profit.

You'll notice the updated look as soon as you walk into Rezaz, with a new bar, wine wall, and locally-made feasting table.

The restaurant was closed almost three weeks for the improvements. During that time the staff worked on building a Habitat house.

Chef and Co-Owner, Laura Smith, says it was one way to give back and hopes her restaurant also helps bring the community together.

“With that I think that is Habitat for Humanity because they really embrace that concept in what they're trying to do and that's something that hopefully one day we'll be able to give back as much as they do," she says.

During the month of March, a portion of proceeds from the restaurant's "Herbal Habitat Drink" will be donated to the Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity.

The restaurant also donated a portion of proceeds from Thursday night's dinner service to the non-profit.

Rezaz is open for lunch Monday through Saturday from 11:30am - 2pm and dinner seven days a week from 5pm until 8:30pm.

The restaurant has also extended hours by offering mangia pasta bowls from 3 until 5pm and a late night menu on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8:30pm until 10pm.
