ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Asheville's buskers are what help make the city unique, and are a major draw for tourists visiting downtown.

News 13 This Morning has started a new monthly segment, Street Scene, to highlight our local performers in a collaboration with the Asheville Buskers Collective. On the first Friday of each month, we will showcase a different busker.

On Friday, the Fly By Night Rounders visited the studio featuring Abby Roach, AKA Abby the Spoon Lady, Vaden Landers, Chris Rodrigues and Ashton Smith.

Abby is also the the President of the Asheville Buskers Collective.

"Asheville in general has a really unique music scene and busking is a real great way to share your music and create community," Abby said.

Abby also hosts a radio show called the Busker Broadcast on WPVM 103.7FM on Mondays from 4-6pm.

The Fly By Night Rounders have been together off and on for three years. You can usually catch them in front of the Flat Iron building downtown or in front of Woolworth Walk.
