WLOS - In a game that grew chippy early in the first half, Brevard College earned their second win of the season on homecoming, topping the Virginia-Lynchburg Dragons, 21-14. Both teams drew personal fouls in the first half, including an ejection of Dragon defender Javon Green in the second quarter. Before the tussling began, the Tornados whirled out to an early 7-0 lead when O'Shay Carter found Bubba Craven down the middle for a 22-yard strike. VU-Lynchburg would score fourteen unanswered points, however, and carry a 14-7 lead into the fourth quarter. That's when Carter and Craven hooked up again, this time from 16 yards out and four minutes later Nazayah Brown took a 31-yard pass to the house to eek out the 21-14 margin.

Carter led the way for the Tornados, going 25/36 for 273 yards to go along with his three scoring passes. BC hosts Methodist next week, with game time set for 1:00pm.
