Brevard - The Brevard Blue Devils are two wins away from their first state football title since 1982. Brevard , the 8th seed in the 2A playoffs go to 2nd seed Reidsville Friday. The Blue Devils have not worried about playing up, they've knocked off the number one and number four seeds in route to this regional final game.

Coach Craig Pritchett says, "The guys feel good. I know Reidsville's got a great team and are undefeated but so was Randleman." Randleman was the top seed until the Blue Devils knocked them off 21-13 two weeks ago. Last Friday, Brevard beat 4th seed Wheatmore on the road on a 45 yard touchdown pass from Mitchell Johnson to Breylan Owens with 1:49 left in the game.

Brevard is 11-3 this season, while Reidsville is 14-0. The winner will play for the state title next weekend.
