Arden - Christ School has a new head basketball coach. Scott Willard stepped down as coach today due to a family member's health issues. Here is the statement from Christ School headmaster Paul Krieger

"Effective this week, Scott Willard has stepped down from his basketball duties as Head Coach due to a family member’s health issues. Scott will retain his full Athletic Director duties. Jeff Depelteau will be elevated to Head Coach and Tiger Norman will be elevated to Associate Head Coach. Both Jeff and Tiger have been head coaches before (at Suffield Academy in Connecticut and Asheville High School, respectively), so the program remains in good and competent hands.

Blessings go out to the Willard family who have the support of the entire school."

Christ School plays Friday at McEachern High School and take part in the Coaches vs Cancer Shootout at Kimmel Arena Saturday at 4. They play Hoke County.
