Dan Gable speaks in Asheville

Asheville - One of America's true sporting legends is in Asheville this weekend. Dan Gable who won Olympic gold in his wrestling career and coached numerous NCAA title teams at the University of Iowa was the featured speaker at the Eblen Charities Headlock for Hunger Leadership Dinner at the Mission Hospital/A-B Tech Conference Center Friday.

Gable is also a highly sought after motivational speaker and told News 13 Sports that when people reach out to him to express their gratitude for his speeches it makes the time and effort worthwhile for him. He said,"It's unbelievable because that's what it's all about. When I pick up a phone and somebody calls me and they say I couldn't stop thinking about what you said last night,that means a lot to me."
