Reynolds advances to state soccer semifinals behind four goals from Matthew Kennedy

WLOS - All season long the A.C. Reynolds soccer team has played with the mantra that it's state championship or bust. The team took a big step closer to that goal Saturday, knocking of Cox Mill in the quarterfinals, 4-2. Senior Matthew Kennedy did all the scoring for the Rockets, tallying a hat trick before halftime and adding an insurance goal in the second.

The Rockets will host Marvin Ridge on Tuesday at 6:30pm. The game is a repeat of last year's semifinals which saw the Mavericks take down the Rockets 4-3 in two overtimes before going on to win the 3A state championship.
