Roberson Rams keep rolling, 10-2 over Enka
WLOS - Just three days ago Enka and Roberson met on the diamond for what ended up being a 31-0 Roberson romp. On Friday night, Enka threatened to take an early lead in the top of the first inning when they managed to get runners on second and third with two outs. Pitcher Davin Miller-Madden was able to get out of the jam and then the Rams bats went to work.
Will Butcher sliced a single up the middle in the home half of the third that brought Drew Elliot home for the games first run. Two innings later, Roberson exploded for seven runs, led by a two-run homer over the left field fence by Ty Gossett.
Enka would tally two runs in the 6th inning, but the Rams were able to cruise to a 10-2 victory.
With the win, Roberson improves to 11-4, including 9-1 in the Western Mountain Athletic Conference. Enka falls to 1-13 and is still seeking its first WMAC win in twelve tries.
