WLOS - The Asheville Tourists are in the middle of a brutal stretch. Forget working overtime; these guys are playing five games over three days, including back-to-back doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday. In the first game of the series against the Lexington Legends, the T's fell behind 4-0 before Chad Spanberger got the home team on the board with a 2-run double in the sixth inning. Asheville would tally another run in the seventh, but a game-ending double play sealed a 4-3 win for the visitors. Antonio Santos took the loss despite ringing up nine Legends hitters over five innings.

In game two, Erick Julio announced his return with authority. In his first start since mid-April, the righty twirled five shut-out innings and only allowed one baserunner. Ramon Marcelino helped him out in the 5th inning with a solo shot over the right field wall. Taylor Snyder followed him with a homer of his own to the left field side that measured 420 feet. That would be all the Tourists would need as Tommy Doyle and Robert Tyler came on in relief and secured a 2-1 Tourists win.

The same two teams will be back at McCormick for the second doubleheader on Saturday, with the first game starting at 4:35pm.
