WLOS - The Rosman Tigers have a huge rivalry game looming on Saturday with county foe Brevard. Joshua Galloway's group has jumped out to a 4-2 record, but they put that on the line Thursday night against 3A Tuscola. The classification difference proved to be too much, as the Mountaineers toppled the Tigers 93-45. Rosman hung with the bigger group early, trailing by only seven after the first quarter. The Mountaineers flexed their muscle the rest of the game, however, stretching their lead to 43-26 by halftime. Tuscola locked Rosman down in the fourth quarter, limiting them to only four points. Max Rogers paced the Mountaineers with 19 points, while Tiger sophomore Hooper Thomas led all scorers with 23.

Tuscola improves to 7-2 and heads to Smoky Mountain next Thursday.
