WLOS - It was a milestone night for the UNC Asheville Bulldogs in their 85-65 win over the Wofford Terriers. Seniors Kevin Vannatta and Ahmad Thomas both reached career marks in leading their team to victory. Thomas became just the sixth player in Big South Conference history to record 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 200 steals in a career when he stepped in front of a pass in the opening minute of play. He also became just the third UNCA player to ever record 200 career steals, joining Andre Smith and J.P. Primm. Vannatta reached the 1,000 career points mark late in the game, when he rebounded a missed shot and put it back in while still hanging in the air. "Kevin got his thousandth point in Kevin Vannatta fashion," laughed head coach Nick McDevitt after the game. "A tough hustle play and offensive rebound." Vannatta is the 33rd player in program history to hit that mark.

The Bulldogs will play host to USC-Upstate on Wednesday, a game that can be seen locally on WMYA/My40.
