Gracee Mattiace

GRACEE MATTIACE is News 13 Weekday Mornings Live News Desk Anchor. A native Floridian, Gracee has been all over the United States and is happy to be back on the east coast. She spent three and a half years reporting and anchoring for KRCG 13 in Jefferson City, MO before moving to Asheville in April 2023.

In Jefferson City, Gracee loved going out into the community to tell mid-Missouri’s stories. She started as a reporter and transitioned into an anchor role in May of 2021. During the morning show she went scuba diving, horseback riding, and sledding live out in the field. She also covered elections, crime, and breaking news at the desk. She also produced weekly Fit Tip Tuesday segments, discussing different ways to live a healthy lifestyle.

Being from Jacksonville, Florida, Gracee’s happy place will always be at the beach. But she also loves all the adventures that come with living in Western North Carolina. Gracee is a proud graduate of Fordham University in New York City. She can find fun anywhere, whether it’s at the beach, in the mountains or in the big city.
