Madison Smith

MADISON SMITH joins the WLOS team and is happy to call North Carolina her home away from home.

The Houston, Texas native joins the team as the weekend Morning Anchor and weekday Reporter.

She will also be heading up the Ask 13 franchise that is near and dear to our viewers hearts.

Prior to News 13, Madison worked 3 years in Amarillo, Texas where she worked her way up from the Weekend Anchor to the weekday Morning Anchor and finally the primetime Co-Anchor.

When she’s not working, Madison loves to shop (it’s an addiction at this point), going out to eat, and listening to music while pretending to put on a sold-out concert on her home.

Madison is a graduate of Sam Houston State University (Eat em’ Up Kats!) where she majored in Mass Communication and minored in Political Science. She was also the president of her university’s Orange Key ambassadors as well as the National Broadcast Society president.
